Infographics

Infographics is a modern way to visualize your data. Mostly you can see it in marketing campaigns and TV programs but it is also a good way to show data from your academic research. With the infographics, you can show the summary of your research results attractively and understandable for the public. The problém is usability in an academical text because the infographics are sometimes too complex and sometimes isn’t so clear and minimalistic which are important aspects in data visualization of an academic text. On the other hand, it can be good additional material when you want to explain your research to the public or also to summarize your data in the presentation.

The infographics can include pictures, icons, pictograms, graphs, diagrams and also texts. But be careful about using text – there shouldn’t be too much of it as well as it shouldn’t be missing. The infographics are most useful in the right context so often it doesn’t work without an additional text or a presentation.
