As a part of Masaryk University, we are dedicated to safeguarding your data and respecting your privacy in accordance with Masaryk University Directive No. 1/2018, Protection and Processing of Personal Data.

What personal data do we collect and process?

In the context of the event, we may collect and process the following personal data:

(i) Participant details:

1. primary data: first name, last name, UČО (university identity number), name of organisation, country, email address;
2. secondary data: title, telephone number.

(ii) Financial information (such as payment card numbers or bank accounts) is used to process possible event fees;

(iii) Dietary preferences (if any) or specific access requirements;

How long do we retain your data?

The data are retained only for the duration necessary to fulfil the collection or further processing purpose.

Cookies

Cookies are short text files stored on a user's device (such as a computer, tablet, or phone) by a website. Cookies are used for the technical functioning of a website (functional cookies) or for gathering statistics (analytical cookies).

Currently, none of the Cookies are stored.

What are your rights, and how can you exercise them?

As a data subject at MUNI MUN, you have several rights concerning your data. These rights apply regardless of your country of origin and include:

(i) Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent without giving any reasons. This right applies only to processing based on your consent. In other cases, please briefly inform us about your complaints;

(ii) Right of Access: You can obtain information about your data stored anytime;

(iii) Right to Rectification: You can request to correct any incorrect personal data;

(iv) Right to Erasure and Right to Restriction of Processing: You can request the deletion or restriction of the processing of your data. If you withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted immediately. Your data will also be deleted when they are no longer needed for the stated purposes or when the retention period expires.

Please note that even if you withdraw your consent, MUNI MUN may still be entitled to process your data on another legal basis, such as contract performance. MUNI MUN may also be required to store your data until the expiry of retention obligations and periods issued by academic supervisors or in possible violation of MUNI Rules and Regulations.
