Our activities include research and development of applications of low temperature plasmas and ionized gases (at the theoretical and experimental level), plasma-chemical reactions in thermally non-equilibrium plasmas and surface plasma interactions, plasmas in liquids and thin film deposition. The department has six independent research groups.
